About the Journal

Comenius: Bratislava Legal Forum is an international conference proceedings journal published by the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava.

The journal brings together selected papers presented at the international scientific conference Bratislava Legal Forum, organized annually by the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava.

The Bratislava Legal Forum 2025 took place at the premises of the Comenius University in Bratislava from 17 to 19 September 2025. Its primary aim was to create a platform for discussion and exchange of ideas between legal practitioners and academics. In line with this objective, the conference programme was structured into a plenary session and parallel topic-based sections.

The central theme of the 2025 plenary session was “Digitalization of Law and Security in the Digital Environment.”

The conference also aims to strengthen international cooperation and contribute to the formulation of new scientific findings in the field of law.

Given the structure of the conference, the proceedings are divided according to individual sections. Each section includes a selection of the best papers, chosen by the conference’s scientific committee.

All submitted papers underwent a double-blind peer review process.

The proceedings are published annually. Volume 1 represents the first selection of conference papers and was published at the end of 2025.
